President's Award for Excellence in Teaching in Learning

The President's Award for Excellence in Teaching in Learning is awarded to members of DCU staff deemed to have made an outstanding contribution to DCU teaching and learning activities. Up to two awards are made each year; the number of awards made depends on the quality of the received nominations. Each award consists of a formal citation, together with a prize of €2,500.
Last years' winners were the European Language portfolio (ELP) team: Dr Jenny Bruen; Veronica Crosbie; and Juliette Péchenart (School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies) and Brian Corcoran (School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering). The awards are open to both academic and support staff, including Library, Registry, Computer Services, Education Services etc. An award may be made to a single member of staff, or to a group of staff who have been jointly involved in the particular activities being recognised.
