Deputy Bruton inaugural lecture

Deputy Bruton's inaugural lecture took place Friday 23 April 2004 in DCU Business School Building. John Bruton td, former Taoiseach and member of the presidium of the recent Convention on the Future of Europe has been appointed Adjunct Faculty Member in the School of Law and Government.
Deputy Bruton will give guest lectures on the School's MA in International Relations and MA in Globalisation programmes. In addition, he will teach a module on the Development of the European Union in the second semester. As a former Taoiseach, Minister of State and, more recently, a member of the Presidium of the Convention on the Future of Europe, Deputy Bruton has an unparalleled experience of public affairs and record of public service. Deputy Bruton has a BA in Economics and Politics from UCD and he has a training in Law, qualifying as a barrister in the King's Inn. He has also given public lectures at some of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world, including Princeton and Yale
