Limerick graduates jazz the night away
A group of Limerick based DCU graduates gathered at the University of Limerick for the annual alumni links dinner in December. The dinner originated from the workings of the Irish Alumni Officers' Group. This group is made up of Alumni Officers from Ireland and Northern Ireland who meet once a year to discuss alumni matters.

The evening was hosted jointly by Dr Roger G H Downer, President, UL and Mr John Kerr, Chairperson, UL Alumni Association. The participating universities were UL, TCD, UCD, University of Ulster, Queen's University and of course DCU.

Alumni Business Breakfast Briefings
Graduates braved the cold mornings to attend the latest series of breakfast briefings held over the winter months. In December Regina Moran, Chief Operating Officer, DMR gave a presentation about 'The Changing Environment and the Future Role for Managers'. January saw Robert Mulhall, CRM Business Intelligence Manager, AIB, speaking about serving the customer over multiple channels. One of Robert's lecturers from his days at DCU, Martin Henry turned up and roles were delightfully reversed with the student fielding questions to the lecturer. And in February Ena Prosser, Director of Strategic Technology Analysis, Elan Corporation, talked about Developing and Delivery Drugs. The briefings were very well attended and graduates had the opportunity to meet and discuss issues of mutual benefit.
