Know Racism Emblem on Campus

The Know Racism Emblems, small broaches representing one world and the five continents, have been available on campus since the 5 July. The emblem was designed by John Rocha and costs €2. At this stage of the campaign sales have been extremely successful in DCU, holding a promise of things to come.

The Know Racism logo has two specific messages to communicate. Firstly, the 'no' in 'Know Racism' is a definite stand against racism and secondly, the 'know' in 'Know Racism' points to the need for a better understanding of the complex issues and contexts surrounding racism.

The emblems are available on campus in the restaurant, library and other outlets around DCU.
