DCU Library - Supporting Research

The library is delighted to announce the opening of the new research commons located on the lower ground floor of the library. The commons has been set up to specifically meet the information and research needs of the DCU research community.

The research commons includes a lounge and reading area, a self-booking research consultation room, and a lobby housing PCs with full internet access to the library's electronic research resources.

Who can use the research commons?
DCU staff engaged in research
/ DCU PhD and professional doctorate students
DCU Master by research students

Entry to the research commons is via swipecard access. To obtain access, please register at the Information Desk on the ground floor.

Opening Hours
The new facility is open from:
8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday
8.30am - 4.45pm Friday

Subject Librarians are available to provide one to one advice and guidance in relation to your research information needs.
