Stephen Cluxton wins Young Personality of the Year RTE/Hibernian Sports Awards
10 January 2003

Stephen Cluxton, a student of the BSc in Science Education at DCU, won the Young Personality of the Year Award at the 2002 RTE/Hibernian Sports Ceremony held in the Burlington Hotel, Saturday 4 January 2003.
Stephen is a member of Parnells Gaelic Football Club, where he plays full forward for the under-21s and in goal for the senior team. He also plays in goal for the Dublin Under 21 team, where he was a great asset during the GAA championship and Aussie Rules Series.
He was in good company at the 2002 RTE/Hibernian Sports Ceremony, where others winners included Padraig Harrington who won Sports Personality of the Year and Mick O'Connell, Kerry GAA legend, entered the Hall of Fame. This is Stephen's first year at DCU and in that time he has received a DCU GAA scholarship, a GAA Vodafone All Star Award and now the Young Personality of the Year Award.
We wish Stephen the very best for 2003
