We are delighted to announce that this years Microsoft EPDC Scholars have been appointed. Congratulations to Dermot Duffy, Aodhan Cullen, Dermot Brennan and Rory McTague who are all second year Computer Applications students. The awards where presented by Kyran O'Neill & Deborah Walsh, HR Department, MICROSOFT EPDC.

This is the second year running for the Microsoft EPDC Scholarship scheme . The scheme is worth £20,000 in total; it will run over a 5-year period.

The CA Students who received firsts in their summer 2001 exams were asked to submit a 5000 word essay entitled 'Computers & Culture'. From this submission the selection committee, Alistair Sutherland and John Murphy from CA, choose the scholars.
