Jamie Heaslip

Jamie Heaslip, Medical Mechanical Engineering student at DCU, has been shortlisted for this year's Player of the Year award by the International Rugby Board. Jamie plays on the Irish rugby U-21 team which reached the final of the IRB World Cup earlier this year. Only two other players have been nominated; Jerome Kaino and Luke McAlister, both from New Zealand. The winners will be announced at the annual gala to be held in London on 28 November.
