The Boston University Internship Programme (BUIP) visited DCU

On Friday 5 July 2002 Joseph Finkhouse, Director of Student Support & Development, and Christopher Russell, Associate Director for Marketing, from The Boston University Internship Programme (BUIP) visited DCU. The Dublin internship Programme is a relatively new venture and this was the first opportunity that Joseph Finkhouse and Christopher Russell had to meet Ferdinand von Prondzynski, DCU President.

Within the internship BU students study Irish history and culture for 6 weeks and for the final 8 weeks they work in an organisation for a 4-day week. An internship programme is an excellent way to learn more about a country from an academic view and also from a day-to-day life.
