The University is required under sections 15 and 16 of the FOI Act to publish two reference guides, for use by both members of the public and by the university community. The guide prepared undersection 15, describes the functions, structure and services provided and the categories of records held by the University. This is available at Section 15. It serves as a useful guide to the governance and management structure of the University.

The second guide, under section 16, is available at section 16 . It contains the policies, procedures and guidelines used by the University in decision-making. This manual is a "one stop shop" for access to University policies and procedures.

While every effort has been made to ensure that the guides are comprehensive and current, Joe Maxwell, the university's Freedom of Information Officer would be grateful to hear if there are any omissions or errors.
