Fionan Coleman Prize Recipients Announced

This years joint recipients of the Fionan Coleman prize are Giacomo Fumu and James McKeever, graduates of the MSc in Investment and Treasury programme 2004.
This year's prize, it its third, is awarded by the NTMA (National Treasury Management Agency) to the student(s) obtaining the highest mark in the second year course on the Fixed Income Securities module on the MSc in Investment and Treasury programme. The prize was initiated to honour the memory of a former member of the NTMA's staff, Mr Fionán Coleman who died in October 2000. Fionán was Deputy Director with responsibility for Funding and Debt Management in the NTMA. His work with the NTMA was outstanding and he played a key role in the development and management of the Irish Government bond market over many years. The NTMA is very pleased to be associated with DCU in awarding this prize each year.

The MSc in Investment and Treasury is a two year part time programme which provides accelerated career development opportunities in the investment and treasury management fields. It also aids the development of outstanding individuals among the existing staff of financial companies.
