DCU hosts international conference on Interdisciplinary Supervision

Dr. Rita Glover and Dr. Aisling McMahon from the School of Nursing and Human Sciences were pleased to host a two-day international conference on Interdisciplinary Supervision in April for over 200 delegates from the fields of counselling and psychotherapy, psychology, nursing and coaching.

This conference brought together leading international and national experts Professor Doug Guiffrida, Professor Peter Hawkins, Assistant Professor Mary Creaner and Dr. Bobby Moore who provided key-note speeches and masterclasses focused on the evolving nature of supervision.

The conference also offered a range of supervisor and supervisee-focused workshops, as well as contemporary research papers to inform and enhance supervisory practice which were very well received by conference delegates.
