Appointment of Professor Anne Scott by Desmond Cardinal Connell to the board of St Vincent's Hospital, Fairview

Professor Anne Scott of Dublin City University has been appointed to the board of St Vincent's Hospital, Fairview by Desmond Cardinal Connell.

Recently elected to DCU's Governing Authority, Prof Scott is the first female professor to be appointed by the University. She is Head of the School of Nursing, which offers nursing programmes at both degree and diploma level.

Five hospitals provide the practical base for the DCU School of Nursing programmes: Beaumont Hospital; James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown; St Vincent's Hospital, Fairview; St Ita's Hospital, Portrane and St Joseph's Hospital in Clonsilla.
