Benefits | Fee concession scheme for the children and spouses or civil partners of DCU staff
Fee Supports
Employees who have been continuously employed on a permanent basis by DCU since before 30 September 1992 are eligible for additional fee concessions for their children and spouses/civil partners, as follows:
● Children: Full remission of fees for children of eligible employees.
● Spouses/Civil Partners: 50% remission of fees for spouses or civil
partners of eligible employees.
● Retired staff may avail of up to 20% remission of fees for further study on DCU courses. This provision is not subject to the pre-30 September 1992 eligibility condition. The scope of this provision applies solely to retired staff and does not extend to spouses, civil partners, or children of retired staff. Children of retirees are not eligible for this remission. Eligibility for fee concessions for dependents remains limited to employees who have been in continuous permanent employment with DCU since before 30 September 1992.
