Course Description

In this course, we explore the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, which is widely used by journalists and others to access records held by public bodies. You will learn what the Freedom of Information Act is about, how FOI is organised at DCU, and how to respond to requests and mitigate the risks associated with releasing records through FOI.
