Welcome
Welcome
Welcome to the DCU Anti-Bullying Centre, a leading international research centre advancing knowledge, policy, and practice in the fields of bullying, cyberbullying, and online safety.
Located within the DCU Institute of Education at Dublin City University, recognised as Ireland’s leading university for research impact, the Centre is aligned with DCU’s research strategy of delivering transformative, real-world impact through interdisciplinary collaboration and global engagement. Our work addresses one of the most pressing challenges facing children and young people today: how to create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments across education and digital spaces.
The Centre hosts the UNESCO Chair on Bullying and Cyberbullying, reflecting our global leadership in shaping research, policy, and practice. We work in close partnership with policymakers, schools, industry, and international organisations to ensure that our research informs systemic, evidence-based responses grounded in a whole-education approach.
Through flagship initiatives, international collaborations, and high-impact research, the DCU Anti-Bullying Centre contributes to DCU’s mission to transform lives and societies. Our work is underpinned by a commitment to inclusion, well-being, and the translation of research into meaningful action at local, national, and global levels.
