Professor of Work & Organizational Psychology,
DCU Business School.

Award winning researcher, teacher and public speaker, Finian's specialist are of research is Trust in the Workplace, in particular how trust is developed and maintained over time. He is also active in research and teaching that focuses on individual Self-Regulation (motivation) at work and in particular how we regulate and monitor thought, emotion and actions within our workplace relationships.

Finian works extensively in Executive Education and has designed and developed several ground breaking and award winning leadership development programmes for client firms and bodies. He has a passion for Irish SME development and growth, and leads several dedicated DCU programmes focused on small firm growth and scaling. 

Finian regularly delivers public keynote presentations and also gives his time freely to assist bodies that seek to understand and work on developing a high trust culture within their organization, no matter what sector.

An active member of several editorial boards of top tier journals, Finian continues to contribute to the research community in many representative roles, and mentors a number of doctoral scholars. He is Irish representative on the European Network of Organizational Pscyhologists.
