Centre For Interreligious Dialogue

  About us:

candlesThe Centre for Interreligious Dialogue (CIRD) is an academic centre committed to the study and practice of interreligious dialogue. The Centre seeks to promote research, teaching, and public engagement in the area of interreligious dialogue in Ireland and beyond, particularly in relation to Islam, Judaism, and Christianity and the religious-secular dialogue today.

The CIRD is situated in the School of Theology, Philosophy, and Music at Dublin City University. It draws on the rich engagement of interfaith studies and research among academic staff in the school, and builds on previous public events such as the 2013 Christian-Muslim Conference on A Common Word.
