On 4 December 2024, the DCU Brexit Institute and DELI hosted the online event 'European Defense Integration after the US Elections'. The event took stock of the impact of the US elections, after Donald Trump's decisive victory, on the future of European integration, and to raise awareness of the challenges ahead.

Moderator: Prof. Derek Hand (Executive Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Dublin City University)

The opening remarks were delivered by Sylvie Goulard (former Defence Minister of France).
