The Hennessy literary award for new Irish writing rewards excellence in writing short fiction and poetry, with just two pieces published monthly in The Irish Times.

Enrolled at DCU since September 2019, Carol is among a talented cohort of emerging writers based at the All Hallows campus.

From Swords, she has a passion for reading, writing and education. She juggles her writing with work commitments at the NCBI Library Access Service in Dublin, and the small matter of two young children.

Congratulations Carol!
