Dr Jennifer Mooney - Book Launch

The School of English was pleased to host a book launch for our colleague, Dr Jennifer Mooney’s newly published monograph, Feminist Discourse in Irish Literature: Gender and Power in Louise O’Neill’s Young Adult Fiction. Dr Mooney’s book is published as part of the Routledge Studies in Irish Literature Series, edited by Dr Eugene O’Brien. The book addresses the role of young adult Irish literature in responding to contemporary issues such as gender, sexism, and consent. Our School of English adjunct professor, Prof Peter Hunt, launched the book. During his visit, Professor Hunt also taught masterclasses on our MA in Children’s and Young Adult Literature.
