DCU Merit Scholarship
DCU offers partial merit-based scholarships to some non-EU students. You are automatically considered for a scholarship when you apply as a non-EU student to DCU. We’ll let you know if you have qualified for a scholarship when we contact you to advise if your application to study at DCU has been successful.
DCU Humanities and Social Sciences Bursary
This merit based bursary is available for high achieving Non-EU applicants that have received an offer to study on a postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Successful recipients will receive a €2000 fee reduction on the full-time 2026–2027 Non-EU Tuition Fees for your postgraduate programme. All Non-EU applications to a postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are automatically considered for this bursary. Only successful recipients of the bursary will be notified via email.
Faculty of Engineering & Computing International Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Non-EU applicants who have received an offer to study on eligible postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing. Successful recipients will receive a €5,000 fee reduction on the full-time 2026–2027 Non-EU Tuition fee.
Eligible programmes for 2026-27 are:
- DC814 - MEng in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
- DC836 - MSc in Computing
- DC883 - MEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering
- DC877 - MSc in Electronic and Computer Technology
All Non-EU applications to a full-time postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing are automatically considered for this bursary.
Successful recipients of the bursary will be notified via email.
If a successful applicant recieves a DCU International scholarship, they will not be considered for another DCU scholarship (e.g. a Merit Scholarship).
DCU Business School International Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Non-EU applicants who have received an offer to study on eligible postgraduate programmes in the DCU Business School.
Eligible postgraduate programmes for 2026-27 are:

- DC526 - MSc in International Accounting & Business
- DC527 - MSc in Global Management (Digital Disruption)
- DC501 - MSc in Accounting
- DC511 - MSc in Finance
- DC510 - MSc in Management (Business)
- DC514 - MSc in Management (Strategy)
- DC516 - MSc in Digital Marketing
- DC538 - MSc in Business Analytics
- DC537 - MSc in Management (Operations and Supply Chain)
Successful recipients will receive a €2,000 fee reduction on the full-time 2026–2027 Non-EU Tuition fee.
Eligible undergraduate programmes for 2026-27 are:
- DC110 - Bachelor of Business Studies International
- DC111 - Bachelor of Business Studies
- DC115 - BA in Accounting and Finance
- DC117 - BSc in Aviation Management/Aviation Management with Pilot Studies
- DC240 - BSc in Marketing, Innovation and Technology
- DC241 - BSc in Digital Business and Innovation
Successful recipients will receive a €1,100 fee reduction on the full-time 2026–2027 Non-EU Tuition fee.
All Non-EU applications to a full-time postgraduate programme in the DCU Business School are automatically considered for this bursary.
Successful recipients of the bursary will be notified via email.
If a successful applicant recieves a DCU International scholarship, they will not be considered for another DCU scholarship (e.g. a Merit Scholarship).
Faculty of Science and Health International Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Non-EU applicants who have received an offer to study on eligible undergraduate or postgraduate programmes in the DCU Faculty of Science and Health. All Non-EU applications to an eligible programme in the Faculty of Science and Health are automatically considered for this scholarship, and the reduction in fee will be applied directly to the student account.
Eligible postgraduate programmes for 2026-2027 are:
- DC739 - MSc in Diagnostics and Precision Medicine
- DC776 - MSc in Biotherapeutics
- DC734 - MSc in Bioprocess Engineering
Successful recipients will receive a €5,000 fee reduction on the full-time 2026–2027 Non-EU Tuition fee.
Eligible undergraduate programmes for 2026-27 are:
- DC215 - BSc in Nursing (General)
- DC216 - BSc in Nursing (Mental Health)
- DC217 - BSc in Nursing (Intellectual Disability)
- DC218 - BSc in Children's and General Nursing
Successful recipients will receive a €6,100 fee reduction on the full-time 2026–2027 Non-EU Tuition fee.
All Non-EU applications to a full-time postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Science and Health are automatically considered for this bursary.
Successful recipients of the bursary will be notified via email.
If a successful applicant recieves a DCU International scholarship, they will not be considered for another DCU scholarship (e.g. a Merit Scholarship).
