Write to Read

Write to Read is a school and community based professional development model to enable teachers and community educators to deliver high quality literacy programmes for children. Our vision is for a whole school, whole community approach to literacy where expectations will be raised, parents will be empowered and children will be supported and encouraged to develop reading and writing as lifelong habits. Professional development is delivered by St. Patrick’s Campus (DCU) in partnership with participating schools and community organisations. Write to Read offers an I.N.T.O.  Certified Summer Course, which has been very successful for the past two years. For more information (hyperlink to INTO summer courses)
