M.Sc. in Education and Training Management Programme at DCU - closing date 30 April 2009

The School of Education Studies offers a Masters (M.Sc.) in Education and Training Management. The Programme consists of two strands: Leadership and e-Learning. Participants are drawn from across the primary, post-primary, further, higher and adult education sectors as well as from corporate industry, nursing, personnel, governmental departments, state agencies and NGOs.

The dynamics of this applied Masters programme rests with participants who choose topics for research which lead to further improvement in their workplace.

It builds their knowledge and understanding of the dynamics at play in what is becoming an increasingly complex working and living environment.

Garrett Ryan, Training Program Manager with IBM Dublin Technology Campus gives this testimonial.

‘The Masters in Education and Training Management program was one of the most inclusive, informative and supportive learning opportunities I have ever undertaken. I had been an Electronic Engineer for 15 years and really wanted a new challenge. I wanted a new career where I could see the positive effect of my efforts on the world around me. I guess the true test of any learning program is whether or not it can deliver the career opportunities that the program of learning promises. For me, the Masters has delivered, as I successfully changed career to Learning & Development Programs Manager.’
