Career guidance seminar

On Wednesday 19 May 2004 Dublin City University is hosting a seminar for Career Guidance Counsellors. Every two years DCU organises a seminar for Career Guidance Counsellors covering issues of interest and relevance in relation to student entry into university.

This year we are focusing on four themes

• I.Career guidance overview
• II. International perspective
• III.Industry/ employers perspective
• IV. Student life

We have invited a number of external speakers including representatives from industry/employers and Ms Mary O'Donnell, Irish Independent and hope to provide you with a forum to discuss factors influencing student choices in relation to third level education.

The seminar will be held in HG20 in the new Nursing building at Dublin City University. The new Nursing building is situated at the Collins Avenue entrance for DCU. Ample parking is available in the multi-storey car park. The seminar will begin at 10.00am and lunch is included.
