Learning Association
Love of Lifelong Learning Association (3LA)
This comprises participants from the broad range of activities on the DCU campus.
It provides an opportunity for participants to meet socially through coffee mornings, events and educational trips.
Members of the 3LA also act as ambassadors for DCU's AFU.
There is a one-off payment €10 to join the 3LA which gives priority booking on all events the 3LA host during the year.
Irish Senior Citizen Parliament
DCU AFU has two board members Ms. Catherine Clancy and Ms. Mary Leslie representing DCU on the ISCP, which lobbies and advocates on behalf of older people.
Over the past months, the ISCP successfully campaigned on the Cost of Living Crisis, housing for older people, Pensions and challenging ageism.
If you have an issue you wish to raise please let us know and we will present them to the Parliament.
