Global Intergenerational Week 2023
We are pleased to inform you that once again this year DCU Age-Friendly University will be representing Ireland during Global Intergenerational Week as the official Country Lead for Ireland.
Global Intergenerational Week 2023 will take place from April 24th to April 30th and the themes are*:
Day 1: Let’s raise intergenerational awareness.
Day 2: Let’s build intergenerational partnerships.
Day 3: Let’s combat loneliness and social isolation.
Day 4: Let’s celebrate intergenerational spaces and communities.
Day 5: Let’s break down age barriers.
Day 6: EU Day – Solidarity between generations.
Day 7: Thanks.
*The themes in bold are the ones in which Ireland will participate in.
We invite you to host an event showing good intergenerational practice to celebrate different age groups coming together.
