Happy International Women's Day!

We wish you a very happy International Women’s Day!

On this occasion, we were delighted to listen to Dr. Lucie Vidovićová from the University of Masaryk Czech Republic and Dr. Mel Duffy from DCU for a presentation on different aspects of ageing such as anti-ageing industry targeted advertisement, empowering older people to live their lives and take risks, valuing older people and more.

It was enriching to witness the exchanges between our speakers and AFU participants and to approach these subjects from a sociological point of view.
