Tests of the Virtual Reality Dementia and Ageing Experience educational tools on October the 1st during the UN Day of Older People

UN Day of Older People

This year's theme is the resilience of older people in a digital world.

As part of our celebration of the International Day  Older Persons, DCU School of Nursing and Community Health and the Age-Friendly University Unit are delighted to welcome Jonathan Park, Age Scotland, to deliver a virtual presentation that showcases their newly installed Virtual Reality Dementia and Ageing Experience educational tools.

Jonathan has over 15 years of training experience in both one-to-one and group training where he helped integrate assistive technologies to students with dyslexia. He is passionate about helping people with the use of emerging technologies and is really excited to introduce Age Scotland’s virtual reality product.
