Research Study Recruitment - We need your help

Dear all,

Marta Cesarini is a researcher conducting a research project on the effects of social engagement on well-being in older adults as part of the MSc in Psychology and Well-being (PSYC524 module) under the supervision of Dr Louise Hopper. She is looking to recruit people aged 65 years or older who reside in the Republic of Ireland to take part in a focus group OR in a survey

She would be delighted if you could also mention the research to your relatives and friends in case they are interested in taking part.

Focus Group option: participants will attend a one-hour focus group to share opinions on their social engagement activities. Alternatively, the researchers can also offer to interview the participant privately, should the focus group format not suit them.

If you or someone you know would like to register an interest for the focus group, please contact Marta directly (marta.cesarini2@mail.dcu.ie) or click on this link: Focus Group Registration

Survey option: Additionally, we are looking for participants to complete a 15-minute survey in the modality they are most comfortable with: online (through the participant’s own laptop/computer, phone or tablet) or through a pen and paper format that we can provide. Participants can complete the survey individually or with the support of a relative or a friend for reading and/or recording the responses. If you or someone you know would like to complete the survey, please click this SURVEY LINK

For any inquiry, assistance or support please contact the researchers:
