We’re thrilled to showcase ESCAPERS, the European Erasmus+ initiative revolutionising intergenerational learning through escape‐room experiences in care settings. This innovative project harnesses game-based learning to:

• Bridge the generation gap with engaging, collaborative escape games
• Boost social inclusion and reduce isolation among older people
• Sharpen digital skills and pass on precious life memories
• Inspire civic involvement and lifelong learning for all ages

What’s been delivered so far?

• A Methodological Guide for Crafting Meaningful Intergenerational Escape Rooms
• Five bespoke escape games creating fun, learning-rich experiences
• A Local Labs Guide for community rollout
• Training for 50 adult educators and 10 trainers to ensure effective delivery
• Participation from 100 individuals, bringing generations together (projectescapers.eu)

Spanning Greece, Italy, Spain, Ireland—and more—the ESCAPERS consortium is making a real impact by celebrating intergenerational life stories and nurturing cross‑generational bonds.
