ACCOMMODATION GUIDE for 13th International Workshop on Higher Education Reform, Dublin, Wednesday 07- Friday 09, September 2016
Participants are encouraged to stay in one of the three accommodation options described below. Please note that accommodation in Dublin gets booked out early! Special rates for HER2016 Workshop have been negotiated, however, places are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.
1. Trinity College Summer Accommodation

The majority of HER2016 delegates is expected to stay in Trinity College Summer Accommodation. Rooms are simple but elegant and have shared bathrooms. Situated in a wonderful historic location in the heart of Dublin City, Trinity College Summer Accommodation rooms are just a 20-minute bus ride from the main conference venue in DCU's St. Patrick’s campus on Wednesday, 7th and Thursday, 8th September. Delegates staying in these rooms will also enjoy the convenience of an on-campus session in Trinity College on Friday, 9th.
HER2016 participants can book their stay by going to website above, entering their arrival and departure dates and entering the promotion code HER16. Guests can then view the room options that are available and book online, the first night's accommodation is charged at time of booking and the balance is payable upon check-in. Please note that the promotion codes are based on a first-come first-served basis.

2. Dublin Skylon Hotel (BEST WESTERN PLUS)

Dublin Skylon is a modest 3-star hotel directly adjacent to the main conference venue in DCU's St. Patrick's campus, and a 15-minute bus ride from Dublin city centre. With an express taxi/bus lane outside the hotel door, it is also a 15-minute taxi ride from Dublin airport. Skylon Hotel has onsite parking. Participants are encouraged to book early as September is one of the busy months and the rooms go fast.
