Student Testimonials

Ms Enaam AlHashimi, Year 4, Faculty of Engineering and Computing,

DCU Young Engineers Society Representative, DCU International Student Ambassador

“My family had heard the education system in Ireland was very good. When I was here on vacation the Head of the course discussed the programme with me. Ireland is a very friendly place. I have never felt different because of my religion or for wearing my headscarf.

Being in DCU helped me to be more confident about speaking English in public; I didn’t have the confidence to do so in Saudi Arabia. Now I represent DCU at many events.”
