The first research Seminar Series was launched in the past academic year.

Two research training workshops have been held this year:

• one workshop on computer assisted qualitative data analysis, led by Dr Dawn Dowding, University of Stirling
• Postgraduate research training workshop by Dr Padraig MacNeela, School of Nursing Dublin City University.
