Identity & Address Validation Documents

When returning your Vetting Invitation Form (NVB1) it must be accompanied by one validation of identity document from Group 1 AND one validation of address document from Group 2.  Please see below the lists of acceptable documents for both Group 1 and Group 2

 

Group 1 - Validation of Identity - One Document Required

  • Irish Driving Licence or Learner Permit (new credit card format)
  • Current Valid Passport (from country of citizenship)
  • Irish Public Services Card issued by the Department of Social Protection (must be accompanied with a document which contains date of birth)
  • National Age Card issued by An Garda Siochana (must be accompanied with a birth certificate)
  • Garda National Immigration Bureau Card (GNIB)
  • National Identity Card for EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens

 

Group 2 - Validation of Address - One Document Required 

All validation of address documents must be dated within the last six months.

  • A utility bill. Printed online bills are acceptable. Mobile phone bills are not acceptable
  • Letter from employer confirming name and address
  • P60, P45 or Payslip with name and address
  • Bank/Building Society/Credit Union Statement
  • Employment ID Card (issued by employer to include name and address)
  • Correspondence from an educational institution (correspondence issued by DCU is not acceptable)
  • Correspondence from SUSI, Insurance company regarding active policy, bank, credit union, government body, state agency
