international office review

Thank you for your application for postgraduate study with Dublin City University (DCU). Your application has been marked for review by the International Office.

Assessment of your application by the International Office

The International Office will make an initial assessment of the suitability of your qualifications for admission to the programme(s) to which you have applied. If you are a national of a country in which English is not the native language or you have not completed your undergraduate studies through the medium of English, the International Office will also assess any evidence you have provided of competency in the English language.

The International Office will advise you where additional information is required in relation to the assessment of your application. If your application passes the initial assessment stage, it will then be passed to Faculty for review.

Please note that failure to provide the correct information will result in delays in processing your application.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should note that where they do not meet the entry requirements for a programme their application would not have a successful outcome. It is the applicants responsibility to familiarise themselves with the entry requirements for the programmes for which they apply. These details are outlined within the programme information contained on the university website at www.dcu.ie. Applicants from overseas who are applying for programmes of study with D.C.U. should note that they are required to obtain a study visa to enter the country. These applicants should note that, as visas are not issued for part-time study, they will be deemed ineligible to be considered for part-time programmes.

Queries on your Application

Each programme is allocated an admissions co-ordinator within the Admissions Section of the Registry who is responsible for processing applications to that programme. Details on the admissions co-ordinator for the programme(s) to which you are applying can be obtained from the programme information contained on the D.C.U. website. This information is also available by clicking on the relevant programme PAC code on the front page of the Application form.
