Exemption: Candidates who achieve a pass mark in any module are exempt from further examination in that module.

There is NO compensation
Pass Mark: 40%.
Degree Award Classification: Classification for final degree award is determined by the overall average mark

Honours, First Class Honours - 70%+
Second Class Honours - 60%-69%
Pass - 40%-59%

An award with Honours may be considered provided that the candidate has passed all modules at the first attempt. The maximum mark that will apply in case of a repeated module is 40%. Candidates must pass both the continuous assessment and final examination element of all module where both are used in the assessment process

Executive Masters in Marketing
Exemption:
Candidates who achieve a pass mark in any module are exempt from further examination in that module.

There is NO compensation
Pass Mark: 40%.
Degree Award Classification: Classification for final degree award is determined by the overall average mark (in case of the Executive Masters in Marketing this is a weighted average of first year marks, second year marks and dissertation).

Honours, First Class Honours - 70%+
Second Class Honours - 60%-69%
Pass - 40%-59%

A student who fails a module in year 2 is not eligible for honours. The maximum mark that will apply in case of a repeated module is 40%. Candidates must pass both the continuous assessment and final examination element of all module where both are used in the assessment process.
