Non-EU applicants are required to pay the full fee for their programme within four weeks of the offer date.
Please note acceptance of an offer cannot be made unless accompanied by full payment.
Amount of Programme Fee
The amount of the fee payable is dependent on the programme type. Please refer to the schedule of fee payments detailed on the following website: http://www.dcu.ie/finance/fees/schedule.shtml
Methods of Payment
Please choose from any of the following methods of payment:
- 1. By Bank Transfer
- Payment by bank transfer to the following account:

A copy of the receipt, together with the following details, (name, PAC Application Number and title of programme) should be posted to Student Fees, Finance Office, Dublin City University, Dublin 9.
The original receipt should be retained as applicants will be asked to produce this at registration. - 2. By Credit Card
- Contact our Finance Office at + 353-1-700 5153 or + 353-1-700 8302. All credit cards, except American Express are acceptable. The following details (name, PAC Application Number and title of programme) should be provided at the time of payment.
- 3. By Bank Draft
- Drafts should be made payable to "Dublin City University". . The following details (name, PAC Application Number and title of programme) should be written on the back of the bank draft. The bank draft should be posted to Student Fees, Finance Office, Dublin City University, Dublin 9.
You should keep a copy of the bank draft for your own records.
Please note Drafts drawn on a non Irish Bank may incur additional charges. - 4. International Student Payments:

Study Visas and Other Overseas Information
Applicants are asked to supply the following information when applying for a visa at their local Irish Embassy
- Valid passport number
- Date of issue and expiry of passport
- Date, place and mode of arrival in Ireland
- Evidence of sufficient funds to cover living and other expenses for the applicants proposed stay
- Recent passport photographs
- Visa application fees
Confirmation from DCU indication that the applicant has accepted a place in DCU and has paid his/her full fees
A letter of confirmation, required by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, will be issued on request by the University.
Applicants requiring a VISA letter should e-mail
indicating:- The title of the programme offered
- The PAC Application Number
- The fees paid and the method of payment
We would advise Non-EU applicants to contact the nearest Irish Embassy or Consulate to obtain information about other necessary documentation, as requirements may vary according from country to country.
