Venue: Online

A one-hour webinar on the broader implications of the proposed EC Data Governance Act and a two hour workshop will focus on the most recent relevant Open call winners in the NGI data ecosystem. A European data governance will facilitate data sharing across sectors and EU Member States. A digital single market can create wealth for society, and provide control to citizens and trust in companies. A Commission proposal is the first of a set of measures announced in the 2020 European strategy for data. The instrument aims to foster the availability of data for use by increasing trust in data intermediaries and by strengthening data-sharing mechanisms across the EU. This workshop will look into this new instrument in the broader context of European Digital Sovereignty. For more information see here.
