Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships

Congratulations to Dr Liam MacGabhann, Dr Daniela Lehwaldt and Dr Emer Ní Bhrádaigh who are leading DCU's involvement in the following successful Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership awards:

  • EEEFCOM: Embedding an Emancipatory Educational Framework in Communities for people marginalised and excluded because of mental health and/or substance misuse issues. DCU is the Coordinator and the programme is led by Dr Liam MacGabhann, School of Nursing, Psychotherapy & Community Health. Partners: Recovery Academy of Ireland; Fundacion Mundo Bipolar (Spain); Penumbra (UK); Evipro (Finland).
  • AHEAD: Assessment in Healthcare EducAtion goes Digital. DCU is the Coordinator and the programme is led by Dr Daniela Lehwaldt, School of Nursing, Psychotherapy & Community Health. Partners: Hanse Institut Oldenburg (Germany); The Medical University of Łódź (Poland); Ilia State University (Georgia).
  • RevitaLESE EU: Revitalising EU Long Established Social Economy Organisations. The programme is coordinated by The Wheel (Ireland) and DCU's component is led by Dr Emer Ní Bhrádaigh, Fiontar & Scoil na Gaeilge.

 

Irish Cancer Society Research Scholarship Award

Congratulations to Chloe Moore and her supervisors Dr Simon Dunne and Prof. Pamela Gallagher, School of Psychology, on being awarded an Irish Cancer Society Research Scholarship 2021.  The research project will focus on enhancing health literacy amongst cancer caregivers.
