Biography

Enda is an Assistant Professor in the School of Health and Human Performance and is currently programme chair for the BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training. He coordinates a number of modules for this programme including Injuries 1,3, Soft Tissue Therapies and Rehabilitation.  He also plays an important role in the development of the Athletic Therapy profession in Ireland, founder member and executive member of  Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland (ARTI). Enda also promotes the Athletic Therapy/Training profession through his position on the International Mutual Recognition Agreement committee. 
He has published a number of papers on the effects of fatigue on the biomechanics of sporting activities, epidemiological studies and rehabilitation interventions. He has presented his findings at a number of domestic and international conferences. He has also served on the organising committees of the WFATT World Congress, the Primary Care Partnership and the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine Annual Scientific Conference.
