Professional Background: Worked for many years in adult and adolescent mental health as an accredited psychotherapist and nurse. Provided clinical supervision to post-graduate psychotherapy students / trainees, pre-accredited therapists and accredited therapists working in a range of clinical settings.
Teaching & Learning: Involved in curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate level, Chaired and delivered a range of psychotherapy and mental health nursing courses, provided research supervision to post-graduate students at M.Sc., Doctorate and PhD level.
Academic: Published in the area of mental health and suicide. Presented at a number of international conferences. Visiting Professor at Webster University, Geneva. Reviewer for a number of international journals in mental health research and practice.
Research: PI on a number of funded projects in the area of suicide prevention, intervention and pos-tvention; psychotherapy; and mental health. Work with academic and clinical research collaborators nationally and internationally. 
Qualifications: PhD Suicidology,  M.Sc. Psychotherapy. M.Sc. Organisational Consultation & Management.
