Specializes in Global Strategy and Digital Transformation at Dublin City University. Research focuses on public sector digital innovation and transformation, and my work has guided the governance polices of An Garda Síochána. Other research interests include digital disruption, global innovation and the future of work.
My research work is highly regarded and has been recognised with a number of international awards and distinctions including "Best Review Paper" for paper "Technology-Related Privacy Concerns: A Review" by the IADIS International Conference Committee as well as "Best Presenter/Presentation" for the presentation of paper "Technology-Related Privacy Concerns: A Critical Assessment" by the Advisory Board for the Global Management and Information Technology Research Conference.
Shortlisted for Presidents Award for Excellence in Teaching in the New Academic Category 2022.
