Peter Whelan is a lecturer in Primary History Education and works in the area of Initial Teacher Education (ITE). Previously, Peter taught for 12 years in the Good Shepherd N.S., Churchtown, Dublin 14. His current work is focused on the research, development and facilitation of ITE, post-graduate and continuing professional development courses in history education. Peter is currently completing a Doctorate in Education (Queen's University Belfast).
