Thomas Grenham
Dr.

Rev. Dr. Thomas G. Grenham (Ph.D, MA, LGSM) is Assistant Professor of Chaplaincy Studies and Practical Theology in the School of Human Development, DCU Institute of Education, Dublin City University. Dr. Grenham was formally the Head of Theology and Director of and Lecturer on the MA programmes in Leadership and Pastoral Care and Social Justice and Public Policy at All Hallows College, Dublin September 2013--2016. He has lectured in Religious Education at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick (2009—2012). He was formally Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Head of the Department of Pastoral Theology at the Milltown Institute of Philosophy and Theology, Dublin (2003—2009). He was an adjunct member of faculty at Boston College, Mass. USA teaching holistic formation for pastoral ministry and religious education (1998—2002). He is a missionary and member of St. Patrick’s Missionary Society, (Kiltegan Fathers) and served for many years among the Turkana of Kenya (1985—95).
He received an Interdisciplinary Ph.D in Religion and Education and a Master's in Pastoral Ministry (Pastoral Care and Counselling) from Boston College, Massachusetts, USA. Dr. Grenham holds a teaching qualification in Speech and Drama L.G.S.M (Licentiate Guildhall School of Music) from the Guildhall School of Music, London, England.
His research interest areas are: Practical/Pastoral Theology; Spirituality; Religious Education; Pastoral Ministry; Cultural and Religious Pluralism and Interreligious dialogue; Society and the Economy; Faith and Culture; Interculturalism and Globalisation.
