Sharon Mc Ardle  BSc. BA. LGSM. PgDip. MSt.
Lecturer in Education- Drama Education in the School of Arts Education and Movement. 
Sharon Mc Ardle trained as an Actor-Musician at Rose Bruford College, UK and then as a Speech and Drama teacher at the Guildhall College of Music and Drama, London. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master of Studies in Drama in Education from Trinity College Dublin.

2016 Other Anaverna Productions One-woman show: Brontë: A Solo Portrait of Charlotte Brontë, By William Luce. Commissioned by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council to commemorate the bicentennial of the birth of the author of Jane Eyre. Performed by Sharon Mc Ardle. Directed by Declan Gorman. Costumes by Sinead Roberts .Produced by Vere Lenox-Conyngham, Anaverna.
2011 Other St Vincent De Paul, NT, Australia. Long Grass Lounge: Connecting Homelessness (Touring Multi- Arts Venue) 2011 St Vincent De Paul, NT, Australia. A multi-arts initiative- a touring Arts Venue, aimed to encourage work of artists, musicians, performers and writers from marginalised communities, by providing them with a space to host their work. The Lounge itself was an installation piece, created by members of the Aboriginal, homeless community and local schools and was representative of the ingenuity that lies at the heart of necessity. The overall aim was to provide a space, which would stimulate dialogue amongst guests and encourage a break down in any misconceptions of homelessness as well as demonstrate positive ways in which homeless people can make a living through the arts. Long Grass lounge was invited to many fundraising events and festivals around NT. Role: Community Arts Co- ordinator.
2013 Consultancy Turning the Curve Project: EU INTERREG IVA program. Turning the Curve Project (Performance and Project Documentation) EU INTERREG IVA program. Health Service Executive. Health and Social Care Board. Public Health agency in NI. The project supports the needs of children with Autism and their families through the provision of specific family support programs across the border region. Role: Theatre Director.
2014 Other Louth Craftmark TSTC Project. EU Peace III Program & Louth Peace and Reconciliation Partnership. Ethnic Women's Cooking and Stories Through Craft (Community Banquet, Documentary film & Cookery Book) A project which brought women of different nationalities together to cook and learn how to make ceramics and in the process also learn about each other’s cultures and stories around culinary traditions. Role: Story facilitator in collaboration with Ceramics Artist and Documentary filmmaker.

Devised by Constance Short. Conference Consultant: Peter Berresford Ellis. Presented a reading from Dorothy Mcardle’s literature. Presented a staged reading of a one-act play by Dorothy Mcardle, specially transcribed from Abbey manuscript archives for this event. Directed by Declan Gorman.
