Mengdi is a Research Assistant in Multilingualism in the School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies (SALIS) at Dublin City University. She is currently lecturing Chinese language courses for DCU Futures Programme. 


Her background is in the fields of Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), specifically Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL) learning/teaching. Mengdi’s research interests lie in the area of Telecollaboration in Language Learning, Technology-mediated Task-Based Language Learning, CFL, Intercultural Communicative Competences.
