Orlagh Reynolds is an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship with DCU Business School with a particular focus on sustainability. Dr Reynolds has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher on Science Foundation Ireland and Interreg Europe funded projects in University College Dublin and NUI Galway. She most recently investigated processes of and contexts for sustainable circular bioeconomy innovation. Orlagh received her PhD in Management from NUI Galway, where her doctoral studies examined the legitimation strategies of sustainability-oriented entrepreneurs. She is interested in qualitative approaches to examining tensions and paradoxes in how individuals pursue sustainability goals through enterprise and innovation. She also conducts research on sustainability in business education, inclusive approaches to circular bioeconomy development, and sustainability networks. Her research has been published in international peer reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research, and MIT Sloan Management Review. Her research is regularly presented at national and international conferences, and is under review with several leading journals in the field. Orlagh is also a Faculty Advisor for Enactus DCU, the global non-profit community of student social entrepreneurs and a member of the Social Economy Research Network Ireland (SERNI).
