Specialised in Public International Law, I am a postdoctoral researcher at DCU School of Law and Government, working on the Horizon Europe RETOOL Project. Prior to joining DCU, I completed a PhD in Law at University College Dublin, Sutherland School of Law. My research sits at the intersections of climate change law, environmental law and human rights law.

Research Interests
My research interests lie at the intersections of environmental law, climate change law and human rights law. Through my work, I aim to advance the discourse on how legal mechanisms for environmental and climate protection should go hand in hand with considerations of the impact that the rapid transformations required by climate targets might have on people's rights. Related research interests revolve around public participation in the context of climate transitions and its role in relation to democracy.
Teaching Interests
My teaching interests are in public international law and EU law, with a focus on their subfields of climate change law, environmental law, and human rights. I am particularly interested in exploring the intersections among these areas. I served as a tutor for specialised law courses (e.g. EU Law) and as a lecturer in Environmental Law and Human Rights Law at UCD Sutherland School of Law. Additionally, I co-lecture the undergraduate module on ‘Law of the European Convention on Human Rights’ at UCD Sutherland School of Law. I adopt a teaching approach that fosters student engagement through critical thinking.
