Training available on request
The DCU Health and Safety Office can assist schools, units, and departments in organising health and safety training courses to meet local requirements. The following are examples of courses that have been delivered previously:

- Health and Safety Representative Training
- Steering and Consultation Group Member Training
- Carcinogenic, Mutagenic and Reprotoxic (CMR) Chemicals

- Visual Display Units (VDUs)

Safelab Training
For staff and postgraduate researchers in the Faculty of Science and Health, completion of the Safelab training programme is mandatory. Safelab comprises the following modules:
- Out-of-Hours Training
- Health and Safety Training
- Security
- Manual Handling
- Chemical Safety
- Biological Safety
- Laser Safety
- Electrical Safety
- Radiation Safety
